Christian Voigt
1961, Munich, Germany
He works with large-format cameras, both digital and analog. He experiments with the latest technology as well as the earliest shooting techniques. Voigt has developed a language capable of telling new stories. His work continues evolving into a very particular pictorial language, simply but rigorously telling us stories that keep awake lived feelings, just as free, generous impressionist brush strokes.
Landscape and architecture are his main areas of interest. The trips and places related to his projects require great concentration, above all, due to the need to understand the reality of their people, their story and their believes. His works have been displayed in solo exhibitions and art fairs at Basel, Hamburg, New York, Los Angeles, London, Saint Tropez, Amsterdam and Madrid.
