Lucía Loren
1973, Madrid, Spain

Artist, university professor and activist whose line of research revolves around contemporary art practices that integrate a socio-environmental reflection of our relationship with the territory, articulating collaborative praxis, social intervention processes and integrating these experiences in inclusive educational contexts.

Within her artistic activity, under the binomial art and ecology, she has made specific interventions in numerous natural environments in Spain, USA, Italy, Andorra, Poland, Holland, Switzerland, Argentina, Western Sahara. In all these interventions, she is interested in making visible the human being/landscape interactions that have achieved a respectful relationship with the environment they inhabit. On many occasions, the work process becomes a space open to the participation of the local population, generating an exchange of experiences and knowledge with the rural population.
