Cristina Avello, Whimsical
Putting everything experienced in crisis requires an effort and a risk that is not always assumed, because the results are never immediate. The artist sleeps with a notebook on the bedside table, to take notes of ideas and occurrences that she does not want to forget as soon as she wakes up. Notes composed of timeless phrases or individual verses that want to be poems, where she anchors afterwards what she feels and thinks, transforming it into sensible forms, whose symbolism derives from what they hide and cannot be detected at first glance.
Prologue by Menene Gras Balaguer.
