Salustiano, On The Road

When considering the work of an artist as idiosyncratic, personal and charismatic as Salustiano, we face many dilemmas. He is a painter with classical roots, who approaches the human figure as artists have done ever since the Renaissance, by studying every anatomical detail with a scientific attitude of documentation and discovery; while he is also a contemporary artist who paints and draws guided by a self-taught intuition, rabidly reflecting this period in history, when weapons and games are part of the dreams and realities of the young of today.
